Enterprise sign-in

A directory decides who someone is. It never decides what they may do — membership, roles and data classification stay here. Binding one lets its people sign in to a single workspace, and nothing else.

No directories are configured. Everyone signs in with an email and password.

Add a directory

From the app registration in Microsoft Entra ID. Endpoints are derived from the directory id, so there is nothing else to copy.

The secret is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown again.

Sign-in through a directory is not switched on yet. What is built is the configuration above: the binding, the credential and the endpoints. The redirect flow, identity provisioning and group mapping come next, and a directory marked Admitting users will start working when they land — nothing changes for anyone signing in with an email and password.
